6506/11-10 Berling consists of two separate discoveries located on the Halten Terrace in the Norwegian Sea, 23 kilometres southeast of the Åsgard field. The water depth is around 280 metres. The discoveries were proven in exploration well 6506/11-10 in 2018, and delineated in 2019 and 2020, respectively. The reservoirs contain gas and condensate; one of the discoveries has its reservoir in the Jurassic Garn Formation and the other in the Cretaceous Lange Formation. The development concept is a subsea template tied-back to the Åsgard B facility. The plan for development and operation (PDO) was submitted in December 2022.
