6407/2-5 S (Nona) is a discovery on Haltenbanken in the eastern part of the Norwegian Sea, 10 kilometres south of the Midgard structure on the Åsgard field. The water depth is 250 metres. Nona was proven in 2009. The reservoir is in Middle Jurassic sandstone and contains oil in the Ile Formation and gas in the Garn Formation, and lies at a depth of 2750 metres. The most likely development solution is a combined tie-back of several discoveries in the eastern part of Haltenbanken to the Åsgard B facility. The plan for development and operation (PDO) is expected to be submitted in late 2022.
