6507/4-2 S (Dvalin Nord) is a discovery in the northern part of the Norwegian Sea, 10 kilometres north of the Dvalin field. The water depth is 360 metres. Dvalin Nord was proven in 2021. The reservoirs contain gas in Middle Jurassic sandstone in the Garn Formation, gas and condensate in Late Cretaceuos Lysing Formation as well as gas and oil in Late Cretaceous Lange Formation. The most likely development solution is tie-back to the Heidrun field. Plan for development and operation (PDO) for the Garn Formation is expected to be submitted in late 2022.
