6608/10-17 S Verdande is a discovery in the northern part of the Norwegian Sea, five kilometres north of the Norne field. The water depth is 375 metres. Verdande was proven in 2017 and delineated in 2018. The reservoir contains oil and gas in sandstone of Cretaceous age in the Lange Formation. The plan for development and operation (PDO) was submitted in December 2022, and includes one subsea template tied-back to the Norne production, storage and offloading vessel (FPSO).
